4 | 4 boneless beef chuck eye steaks (1-inch thick) | ||

Marinade: | |||

3 | tablespoons | lime juice | |
|
|||
3 | tablespoons | water | |
|
|||
1 | jalapeno pepper, minced | ||
|
|||
1 | tablespoon | fresh cilantro, chopped | |
|
|||
1 | clove | garlic, minced | |
|
|||
1/4 | teaspoon | cumin | |
|
Combine marinade ingredients in small bowl.
Place beef steaks and marinade in shallow dish, turn steaks to coat, and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours. Remove steaks; discard marinade. Place steaks on grill over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill uncovered, 16-20 minutes or until desired doneness. Turn halfway through grilling.
